New Document Request System at NAL
April 13, 2005 - Beginning April 15, the National Agricultural Library (NAL) will use the Relais Enterprise document request system to receive and process requests for documents. For an overview of this new way to request documents from NAL, go to AGRICOLA.
Implementation of the Relais Enterprise document request system means that NAL will no longer accept document requests submitted via E-mail, ARIEL, FAX, or mail. Documents must be requested from NAL via the Web using AGRICOLA or blank request forms. NAL also accepts requests via OCLC (NAL's's symbol is AGL) and DOCLINE (NAL's Libid is MDUNAL).
NAL will continue to use an array of methods as requested by our customers to deliver documents. These methods include e-mail attachment or post to Web, FAX, Ariel, and mail.
Go to AGRICOLA for an overview of this new document request system at NAL, including:
Who is eligible to send requests directly to NAL.
How to register for an ID.
How to submit a document request from an AGRICOLA record.
How to submit a document request using a blank form.
Please address questions about requesting materials and access to the NAL collection by completing the web form.
